Meet Connor

Connor Timpe graduated from UT Austin with a BFA in dance, after which he performed with various companies in Texas including ARCOS, NunaMaana and Galveston Ballet. During a brief break due to covid, he persued his other passion in tech and currently works as a full time software developer.

He is now balancing his 9-5 while performing with TY&CO, Mei/Co, Mira Cook, and Spaces of Fontana. He is so thankful for the wonderful Austin community who are willing to work around his schedule.

Why do you love dancing with Spaces of Fontana?

"I love that Spaces of Fontana creates an environment that balances the fun of hanging out with friends and the rigorous

professionalism to dive deep into complex topics.

I come out of each rehearsal feeling renewed and bright." - Connor

favorite piece?

My favorite Fontana piece I've performed is Masculus. It has been interesting to explore the different aspects of what it means to be a man and how that can change from person to person.

Learning chorography while holding a baby provided its own uniquely entertaining challenge.
