About the event

Spaces of Fontana will feature an excerpt of Becoming with original music by Kelsey Hughen and Therese Ronco for this curated evening of short dance works guest artists from across the nation.

Brazos Dance Collective started the Brazos Contemporary Dance Festival in 2007 in order to bring artists and companies to the Brazos Valley. This 3 day festival includes performances by companies around the nation who have applied and were selected through a peer-reviewed process. In addition to performances, artists also offer master classes to local dancers and is an opportunity for choreographers and artistic directors to come together to discuss the challenges around managing a dance company. This year's festival will be hosted in conjunction with the School of Performance, Visualization & Fine Arts at Texas A&M University.
