Have you ever wondered what the forest can teach us about being human?
You are invited to the inaugural ROOTED Workshop—an afternoon designed to slow down, connect with your community, and explore our relationship with the local canopy.
This is a workshop for everyone. You do not need to be a dancer, an artist, or a writer to join us. Whether you haven’t touched a crayon since childhood or consider yourself a lifelong mover, all you need is an open mind and a love of trees.

ROOTED is a workshop designed for the community, incorporating meditation, contemporary dance improvisation, partnering exercises, spoken word writing, and visual art creation. Participants will engage in activities such as guided meditations, improvisational movement inspired by nature, individual and group poetry composition, and creating visual art based on personal experiences and memories connected to trees. The workshop fosters creativity, collaboration and self-expression.
