SPACES OF FONTANA is seeking 2 contemporary dancers for an upcoming project on October 4th with the possibility for future performances.

AUDITION WORKSHOP

Saturday, August 24th 2-4 pm

We are a contemporary dance collaboration inspired by human moments to create art rooted in hope. We are dedicated to filling up every space with positive energy in hopes to leave every person touched with a sense of warmth. As artists, we explore improvisation, contemporary partnering, play and somatics to bring life to our understanding of a human experience.

We were founded by Artistic Director, Evelyn Joy Hoelscher, in 2016 in NYC and relaunched in our new home of North Austin in May of 2023.

As artists it is our goal to “create works worthwhile and beautiful, [that] not only enrich the cultural heritage of each nation and of all humanity, but they also render an exceptional social service in favour of the common good” as St. Pope John Paul the II wrote in his Letter to Artist.

Commitment: rehearsals starting September 10th through October 4th

• 2-3 hrs of rehearsal each week (likely on Tuesdays between 10 am and 1 pm)
• Driving to Round Rock for rehearsal
• Tech Rehearsal - TBD
• Performance at the Ground Floor Theatre for Small Plates - October 4th evening
